I recently restored my computer back to factory settings (clean os) after screwing it up, but I kept source 2007 shared materials.gcf, source 2007 shared models.gcf, source 2007 shared sounds.gcf, source materials.gcf, source models.gcf, source sounds.gcf, team fortress 2 client content.gfcf, team fortress 2 content.gcf, and team fortress 2 on a 16 gb flash drive, so I could just verify integrity of local cache and not have to redownload 13 gb of stuff.Team Fortress 2 does verify, so I suspect that this is limited to games using ACF.Team Fortress 2 does verify, so I suspect that this is limited to games using ACF. After verifying TF2 it seems that I can verify other games OK, but it doesn't work again after restarting Steam.I'm also seeing this issue after the latest update. In case it helps I've noticed that any missing manifest files are not even being downloaded (or at least not stored in the depotcache directory) at the start of the verification process. It worked fine when I was playing a couple months ago, but now it just won't cooperate and I've really got an itch to blow up a stickybomb in someone's face (Giggidy).

I've tried the whole 'Delete Client Registry.blob' and all that, plenty of Steam restarts, everything I can think of short of just uninstalling and reinstalling from scratch. From: bowwowfan20 | #004Pause the update then resume it, From: Final Destiny420 | #001I can force a Pause and Resume but it's doing me no good. To the TC: In this case I'd say just bite the bullet and re-download.

I think something's gone wrong and I'd like to delete the update and redownload it but I don't know where the updates are stored before they're applied. Also, I'm running Windows 10 and I've never ran into any issues like this with any game, ever. EDIT: Also, other games download and finish just fine.

It's only TF2 that's having this problem.

It is possible to increase the FOV limit up to 130 using server-side plugins such as this one.
