Tp link validating identity
If you are not sure, please login the management page to double check.I recently bought a new Linksys wireless router and after setting it up with basic WEP security, I tried to logon from my laptop and was successful!
First, click on the wireless icon in your taskbar and under Related Tasks, choose Change advanced settings. So then I tried to connect from my desktop computer that has a wireless USB adapter attached to it and I ended up getting this error message: Fabulous!I checked my settings on the wireless router to make sure I didn’t accidentally setup certificate security, but found no such thing. You want to make sure you are using that option on your computer. You do not want to make sure you are not using WPA-EAP.Also, since I was able to connect from my laptop with no problem, it led me to believe it was something wrong with my desktop.
After about 30 minutes of fiddling around with various settings, I was able to figure out what the problem was.
Now click on the Wireless Networks tab and select the network in the list at the bottom.
Click on Properties once you select the wireless network that is having problems.
A Service Set Identifier (SSID) is the network name being broadcasted by your TP-Link wireless router.
If the Problem is caused by your laptop, please call the support of your laptop.
If you have connected to various wireless networks before, your computer may have problems connecting wirelessly, especially when the wireless network name (SSID) is the same with the previous ones you have connected to.
